Dr Alison Newlyn
Dr Alison Newlyn qualified from King’s College Hospital, London in 1977 and holds the postgraduate Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is registered on the General Dental Council Specialist List in Orthodontics and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, American Association of Orthodontists and the World Federation of Orthodontists.
She holds national appointments in orthodontics as a director and trustee of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) and is national chairman of the BOS Community Group. She is a member of the Consultant Orthodontists Group.
In specialist orthodontic practice for over 20 years, Alison Newlyn is currently Assistant Clinical Director at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill where she specialises in the treatment of severe malocclusion, facial deformity, multidisciplinary and adult orthodontics. She is also a postgraduate dental trainer and active in the organisation of local dental and orthodontic postgraduate education.
Dr Newlyn is also a graduate of the Open University, with an honours degree in Art History.
